Job Duties:

• Assist with issuing purchase orders, follow up on unconfirmed orders, and manage order status within Salesforce.
• Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure proper communication of delays, order status, damages, and fees.
• Support Operations Team on item and vendor set-up, responsible for obtaining the necessary information for setup.
• Request samples, spec sheets, invoices, credits, certifications, and proper documentation from vendors, and coordinate with the Operations Team.
• Communicate to Sales, any shorts, delays, price differences, availability, and lead time.
• Assist with and lead special projects
• Support the Procurement department in generating new vendor suspects
• Stay up to date on industry trends, coordinating and communicating with sales team
• Maintain daily communication with the core team
• Support other needs of the Procurement team as directed by the VP of procurement
